The annual 2013 Lignacite Lecture will be held on the 26th September at the Royal Society, London at 6.30pm.
This year we are delighted to have Professor Doug King as our speaker.
Doug King wants to change the construction paradigm, believing passionately that universal capability in sustainable development is essential not just to construction industry success but to the future of humankind. Expert in high performance, low impact buildings, Doug has been the environmental engineer behind numerous ground-breaking buildings that set the standards for sustainability. These include the Weald & Downland Gridshell, The Genzyme Centre and Sainsburys Greenwich. In addition to enabling clients and project teams to achieve the highest possible building performance, Doug researches and teaches innovation in building design and is a visiting professor at universities in the UK, China and Russia.
