CHARITY PARTNERSHIPS

At Lignacite, we take great pride in supporting our local community through a variety of charitable partnerships and outreach initiatives. In 2026, we continue our commitment to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) as our Charity of the Year, entering the second year of a three-year partnership. Our goal is to raise £10,000 to provide vital care and support for children, young people and their families across Suffolk and Essex, where our manufacturing sites are located. Together, we can make a difference.

Charity of the Year

Charities & Organisations We Support

With a team full of sports enthusiasts – including GB Ultra-Trail Runner Tom de Lotbiniere – we understand the importance of physical and mental well-being. That’s why we are proud to champion local sports and sponsor Brandon Town FC, Claydon FC, Mundford FC, and Thetford Town Rovers FC.

As a company rooted in Brandon since 1947, we are honoured to sponsor the annual Best of Brandon Awards, celebrating the remarkable individuals and groups that make our community truly special. This year, we are thrilled to sponsor the "Volunteer of the Year" Award, which will be presented on Friday 28th March 2025.

Caring for the environment and taking pride in its appearance is a top priority at Lignacite. That’s why we support Brandon in Bloom, a self-funded community initiative run by dedicated volunteers. Their mission is to enhance Brandon’s beauty through planting schemes and other projects, making the town a greener, more vibrant place for everyone.

Lignacite Fundraising Events

Lignacite Clay Shoot: Our annual Lignacite Clay Shoot is not just our biggest customer event of the year, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to raise much-needed funds for our Charity of the Year, with generous donations collected at each event.

Reach for the Peaks: Last year, our Chief Operating Officer, Nick Franks, completed an incredible 500km walking challenge, with every step raising vital funds for EACH. In 2026, he’s raising the bar even higher – taking on a gruelling series of climbs that includes Britain’s three highest peaks (Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis) and the formidable Mount Kilimanjaro.

We’ll be sharing updates on his progress through our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn), so stay tuned! We wish Nick the best of luck and will be cheering him on every step of the way.
