Charity of the Year
Learn more about our partnership with EACH and discover how you can help us make a meaningful difference in 2026.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise £10,000
With your support, we aim to reach this through a packed programme of staff-led fundraising activities, from endurance challenges and team events to auctions, raffles and community initiatives.
At Lignacite, we believe in building more than blocks. Through our Charity of the Year partnership, we’re building brighter futures for local families.

Ben's Story
Ben Harwood, 18, has Lowe syndrome, which causes problems with his eyes, kidneys and brain. For 13 years, EACH played an important role in his life, including through short breaks at The Nook, before transitioning to adult hospice care after his 18th birthday.
His mother, Bec, reflects on how meaningful this has been, saying, “It’s been an invaluable source of support for our family, and, along the way, we’ve met so many truly lovely people.”
As a special celebration before moving on to adult hospice care, he helped to open a new EACH shop in Norwich by cutting the ribbon, commemorating both his milestone birthday and the ongoing impact of the charity’s work.

Fundraising Highlights
Throughout the year, our team members are taking part in a range of fundraising activities to raise money and awareness for EACH. Here's what we’ve got lined up:
Reach for the Peaks
In 2026, Nick has set himself the ‘Reach for the Peaks Challenge’. Over the course of the year, the challenge will see him tackle some of the UK’s most demanding endurance events, alongside an international summit climb, covering a total distance of 365 kilometres. From scaling the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland to ultra-distance coastal routes and a multi-day ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro, each challenge is designed to push physical and mental limits while raising vital funds and awareness for EACH.
