Lignacite announces Charity of the Year partnership for 2025
Posted by Lignacite
We are delighted to share that East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) has been named our official Charity of the Year for 2025. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families in our region.
EACH provides care and assistance for children with life-threatening conditions. As part of this, they offer specialist nursing, family support and well-being services at locations throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Their dedication to supporting local families aligns closely with our own values, making them an ideal partner for the year ahead.
Throughout 2025, our teams will engage in a variety of fundraising and volunteering initiatives to support EACH’s mission. Planned activities include our Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot and the charity’s Pier 2 Pier Challenge, which will see our teams tackling an epic sponsored walk, in order to raise funds.
Nick Franks, Chief Operating Officer at Lignacite, commented: "We’re honoured to have EACH as our Charity of the Year. As a family business based in East Anglia, we’re looking forward to contributing to EACH’s vital services through our fundraising and awareness efforts. Their incredible work is truly inspiring.”
Anna Bruce, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at EACH, added: "We are thrilled to be chosen as Lignacite’s Charity of the Year. Government funding only covers 15% of our work, so the remaining 85% comes from donations made by individuals and businesses. We rely on the generosity of businesses like Lignacite to ensure we can continue delivering essential care to families during the most challenging times."
This collaboration marks an exciting chapter for Lignacite, as we focus our community involvement on one organisation that touches the lives of so many in our area. Customers, partners, and the wider community are invited to join us in raising awareness and funds for EACH, helping to ensure every child and family in need receives the support they deserve.
