Corporate Architecture Ltd specified Original rose weathered facing masonry for the Charnwood Oaks Nursing Home in Shepshed, Leicestershire. The eye-catching scheme has received an award for 'Best Traditional Build' at the recent Pinders Awards.

Corporate Architecture's choice of a weathered finish provides a textured appearance and enhances the design with a delicate contrast to the render.

The scheme has also been short listed for the prestigious East Midlands RIBA Awards in October.

Weathered facing masonry from Lignacite Ltd offers an effective background canvas while retaining a unique quality on its own accord. Shot-blasted to expose the natural aggregate; a flat, softly rounded surface is achieved, to provide a subtle texture suitable for both external and internal use.
