The Role

As Specification Manager you will be able to work on your own and have the ability to create and drive sales
Experience in selling into the architect and construction sector would be an advantage and as part of this sales role you will need to identify and monitor projects with the experience of working with key stakeholders to create specification sales opportunities.

What we are looking for

You will have previous experience in a similar role with outstanding Customer Service skills. You will be proactive, a strong problem solver and the ability to generate your own leads in addition to following up on direct enquiries.
You will generate specifications from Architects, main contractors and clients.

Ideally you will have

• Existing relationships with Architects
• Experience of selling exterior or interior design building products such as Facing Masonry, Cladding, Rain screen cladding, Facades, natural stone, partitions and Sustainable Masonry
• Background in design, building or architecture would be useful
• Capable of new business generation and expanding existing relationships

For Lignacite the use of carbonation technology is an extension to their long standing sustainability. As part of this, the company uses local sand and gravel for its blocks and up to 90% recycled waste materials, such as wood shavings, glass and shells in its products. Westfield's, the Stratford Shopping Centre, built at the same time as the Olympic Project, was built using on one of Lignacite's most efficient blocks; Lignacite. Over 120,000m2 were used on the project, locking up over 15000 tonnes of CO2.

AFM blocks will bring your buildings to life. Designed for internal and external situations they combine an inherent decorative appeal with strength and durability. Sikh temple Lemingt spa-260Our blocks are made to order and manufactured from a portfolio of natural dense aggregates with added pigments. Choose from 5 finishes and 10 colours. Our AFM blocks are available in a standard face 440 x 215mm and 100mm; we are now able to offer a popular alternative, the Roman Brick - 440 x 65mm and 440 x 55mm weighing less than 7kg, choose from over 50 options.

Lignacite provided over one million masonry blocks to the London 2012 Olympics. At the Velodrome and the Athletes’ Village, the company supplied architectural masonry with recycled glass for the walls and floors to combine aesthetic appeal, sustainability and robust performance.
